UNGA 79 Side Event: A Safer World Is Possible

At the 79th UNGA, the Government of Lesotho and the UN in Lesotho, together with Her Majesty Queen Masenate, hosted a side event titled Ntoa ea Lipitsana — When women take action, a safer world is possible. Prince Harry, The Duke of Sussex, delivered a keynote on social inclusion and mental well-being. Speakers included First Lady Suzanne Innes-Stubb of Finland, First Lady Neo Jane Masisi, the First Ladies of Eswatini and Seychelles were also in attendance. The event highlighted the power of partnerships in building a safer, inclusive world for all.
